At Purely Plant, we believe plant-based food should be more than “vegan”—it should be flavorful, satisfying, and made with intention. Our mission is to serve Caribbean & Latin inspired comfort food that supports wellness without sacrificing taste.

 

What “100% Vegan” Means at Purely Plant

No animal ingredients, ever.
We do not use:

  • meat, poultry, fish, or seafood

  • dairy (milk, butter, cheese)

  • eggs

  • honey or gelatin

  • lard or animal-based broths

All dishes are made with plant ingredients and vegan alternatives only.
We use vegetables, legumes, grains, fruits, herbs, and spices, along with carefully selected vegan substitutes.

 

Vegan Alternatives We Use

Important note: These alternatives are still 100% vegan, but some may be more processed than whole-food ingredients.

 

To bring you the taste and texture you love, some menu items may contain plant-based alternatives, such as:

Plant-Based Proteins & Alternatives

  • vegan steak / barbacoa-style protein

  • soy-based or wheat-based proteins

  • mushroom-based proteins

  • jackfruit and lentil-based fillings

Dairy-Free Alternatives

  • vegan cheese (mozzarella-style, cheddar-style, queso-style)

  • oat milk and other plant milks

  • vegan cream / dairy-free whipped ingredients

  • vegan mayo and dairy-free sauces

Sodium Notice

Some menu items may contain higher sodium due to seasonings, sauces, and vegan alternatives (such as plant-based cheese). If you have a low-sodium diet or health-related dietary restrictions, please inform our staff before placing your order. We will do our best to recommend or adjust menu items when possible.

Because every meal is made fresh and may be customized, nutritional values may vary. Calorie and macro estimates can change depending on:

  • ingredient availability

  • portion size

  • substitutions (ex: extra sauce, extra cheese, extra protein)
