COOK – Part-Time Job Advertisement
At Purely Plant, we are more than a restaurant, we are a community built on flavor, culture,
wellness, and respect. We are a Latin-Caribbean inspired vegan cuisine dedicated to delivering
flavorful, plant-based dishes and exceptional customer experience. We are currently seeking a
skilled and passionate Cook to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Set up, stock, and maintain your station before, during, and after service.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout your shift.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team, expediter, and managers to ensure smooth service.
Monitor food quality and notify a team lead/manager of any issues with ingredients, equipment, or timing.
Complete prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Support teamwork by helping other stations when needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 (one) year culinary experience in a restaurant setting, required.
Strong knowledge of vegan cuisine, required.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong knife skills or willingness to learn.
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Good communication skills and a positive, teamfocused attitude.
Ability to keep calm under pressure

Starting: $12 per hour plus tips
Expected hours:
Up to 30 hours per week
